Conference Location & Nearby Attractions
Location
The Conference will be held at the Ted Rogers School of Management building at Toronto Metropolitan University's (TMU) downtown campus. The building is located on Dundas Street, just east of Yonge Street, near the Dundas Square subway (TTC) station. Here is a map of the area.
The TRS comprises the top 3 floors of the building, above Canadian Tire and Best Buy stores. (There is parking accessible from Bay Street, between the school School and the retail spaces). The conference rooms are on the 7th floor, also labelled TRS-1. You can reach the School by 2 long escalators or elevators.

Restaurants
The area has a range of restaurants along main streets, including College Street and Carlton Street (the same street, name changes at Yonge St.). Congee Queen (a local suburban chain) has established a shop 362 Yonge St, between College and Dundas.
Elm Street, 2 blocks north of Dundas, between Yonge and Bay Streets, has several mid and higher level options including Adega (Portuguese), Bangkok Gardens, the Queen and Beaver (English Pub) and Konjiki Ramen.
Dundas Street, between Bay Street and University, has several interesting restaurants. Gyugyuya a curry place, ramen chain Sansotei and Don Don Izakaya are some Japanese-type options. There also are Korean restaurants including Kimchee Korea House and others. You can buy Japanese cheesecake at Uncle Testsu at Dundas and Bay Street, now in the Atrium.
Shopping
Since the pandemic, downtown has been busier on weekends than weekdays, because many office and provincial government workers still spend much of their time at home. People will commute to shop though.
The Eaton Centre of course remains popular and has a Uniqlo shop. Muji is in the Atrium, the now relatively quiet base of an office tower. There are food courts in the Eaton Centre and Atrium.
